areto - thinking with the heart

WE help! Sustainable promotion of social projects.

WE help!

Taking on social responsibility is a matter close to our hearts and is firmly anchored in our values. Social commitment is part of our culture and is lived by all our employees. They are the ones who bring ideas to us and help to actively shape social concerns at our sites.

WE areto live our corporate values not only as a team and in our dealings with customers and partners, but also as part of the society to which we owe our success.

Diversity, whether religious, cultural, or in the way we live and love is a matter of course for us. Thus, employees from many different nations enrich our areto family.

We are happy to share our expertise in the field of digitization in social and cultural projects.

WE are at the Miniature Wonderland!

“Farbenspiel im Wunderland” – 130 areto employees celebrate at the benefit concert with Helene Fischer in aid of “Ein Herz für Kinder” – on a scale of 1:87. The world-famous Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg’s Speicherstadt warehouse district, together with Helene Fischer, had a clever idea to help children in need: The faithful replica of the legendary Helene Fischer “Farbenspiel” concert. And every current and future employee sits in the stands and supports the “A Heart for Children” campaign. More information about the campaign can be found here.

First® Lego® League

areto is the main sponsor of the “First® Lego® League” (FLL) competition in Cologne and sponsor of the regional competition in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district.

“For us, this competition achieves two important goals: The primary goal is to get young people excited about science and computer science,” says Jan Strackbein, CEO areto. “On the other hand, with our involvement in this competition, we want to do something about the current problem of a shortage of skilled workers in the IT industry.”

Children's Hospice Sternenbrücke

For Advent 2021, areto launched a fundraising campaign to benefit the Sternenbrücke children’s hospice.
Since 2003, the Sternenbrücke children’s hospice has been helping terminally ill young people up to the age of 27 as part of recurring respite care as well as at the end of life, and also accompanies their relatives on the illness journey, which often lasts many years. Even after the loss, Sternenbrücke continues to stand by the families in their grief. In 2021, we were able to transfer a total of €1,300 to the children’s hospice with the donations of €300 and €1,000 that areto themselves donated.
But it doesn’t have to stop there, if you would like to help the children’s hospice with a donation, you can do so here! We thank all donors!
