In our customer projects, an architecture with Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics as a central application and the components Microsoft Azure SQL Server, Microsoft Microsoft Azure Blob and Microsoft Power BI are usually chosen. Because the most important source data is usually in an on-premises SQL Server database, it is often decided to migrate to Microsoft Azure SQL Server. Blob storage through Microsoft Azure Blob is commonly used as the staging area to copy the data to Azure Synapse before loading. Azure Synapse is a distributed system for analyzing large amounts of data. It supports Massive Parallel Processing (MPP), which enables the execution of high-performance analyses.
Azure Synapse Analytics is an integrated enterprise analytics service that accelerates insights from data warehouses and big data systems. Azure Synapse Analytics combines the best technology from different areas: SQL technology for enterprise data warehousing, Spark technology for bigdata purposes, pipelines for data integration and ETL/ELT, and deep integration with other Azure services, e.g. PowerBI, Cosmos DB, and Azure Machine Learning.

Databricks SQL provides an easy-to-use platform for analysts who want to create SQL queries for their data lake visualizations to explore query results, as well as dashboards.
Databrick’s Data Science Engineering provides an interactive workspace that enables collaboration between data engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers. For a big data pipeline, raw or structured data is collected in batches through Azure Data Factory in Azure or streamed in near real time using Apache Kafka, Event Hub, or IoT Hub. This data is stored in a data lake (Azure Blob Storage or Azure Data Lake Storage) for the long term.
Databrick’s Machine Learning is an integrated, end-to-end machine learning environment with managed services for experiment tracking, model training, feature development and management, and feature and model deployment.
With Microsoft Cognitive Services, AI is accessible to all developers and data scientists. With the Microsoft Cognitve Services models, a variety of use cases can be implemented. All users need is an API call to embed functions to see, hear, speak, search, understand and speed up difficult decisions in your apps.
